What comes to mind when I say hypnosis? Is it...
A. Positive associations, helpful, therapeutic
B. Skepticism, theatrics, quackery
If you answered B. then you are likely to have been influenced by movie and theatrical representations of stage hypnosis, which is mostly for dramatic effect, and amusement.
Unfortunately they give the wrong impression. Hypnosis as a therapy has been around since the 1800's and longer in other forms. When utilized correctly hypnosis is a positive and powerful tool which can improve your emotional, mental, physical health and performance. We can bypass conscious critical thinking and facilitate the subconscious mind in finding untapped resources.
Our unconscious mind has no critical thinking, it believes without question everything the conscious mind tells it. Some of our looping self talk can be toxic, negative, untruthful and often harmful.
Utilizing hypnosis I can help you interrupt, alter and upgrade thinking, bringing about positive emotions, beneficial behaviors that make life more peaceful, and enjoyable.
Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state, we slip in and out of trance many times during our day. Day dreaming, meditation, fantasizing, imagining, and when you find yourself doing tasks on auto pilot are all examples of trance.
Hypnosis is a form of deep relaxation where the therapist dialogues with your sub conscious mind to utilize the clients hidden resources, making positive adjustments, and interrupting unhelpful thought patterns.
Enabling the client to be a higher version of themself.
Sessions approximately take an hour, longer when needed. When additional sessions are required they can be booked now.
It is extremely important to have someone you feel entirely comfortable with. To ensure good chemistry, communication, and rapport, I recommend you talk to the Therapist on the phone. Remember Therapists can come with their own personal bias, communication styles, and unique skill sets. Make sure they align with your individual requirements, and beliefs, and that you feel connection, and trust.
If the Therapist is busy leave your best contact number, and have them return your call at a time that suits you. Based on your connection and respectful communication book your appointment.
